We didn’t wait for perfect funding or flawless plans. We started with folding tables, borrowed crockpots, and a belief that hope could be built—one modular act of kindness at a time.

Each week, we met people where they were. In alleyways. Under overpasses. Outside shelters. And slowly, the city’s rhythm began to shift. A man who hadn’t made eye contact in months began helping set up chairs. A woman fleeing domestic violence found a safe space to breathe. A teen who’d aged out of foster care started sketching flyers for our next outreach.
